I am currently facing two problems with my iPhone 6s. I am hoping that someone may have a solution for me. I am currently facing two problems with my iPhone 6s. I am hoping that someone may have a solution for me. Any and all help would be much appreciated. 2018 Mac Mini Unboxing & Hands On. How does a Mac User change their Windows AD Password? Honestly, I am not a Mac guy. This is the only Macbook we have in the entire company, so I don't get to do a lot with it. So, I am facing the problem in a different manner. My couple of iMacs (I don't have a choice, one is the CEO's and he loves Apple so I'm stuck fighting.
Since the recent update 6 weeks to 2 months ago, my laptop (MacBook Air) no longer recognizes my dongle (this is not the corded battery recharger). I had no issues with this until the exact moment I finished the update. I have two USB ports on my laptop. This dongle has resided in the same port for almost a year, but I went ahead and tried it in the other port just to see if it would work there. I've removed the Fitbit Connect software, reloaded it, turned off my Fitbit One, all with no success. I don't have the time to continually look for ways to get this to work, especially when it wasn't broken before the update. I'm frustrated.
I might venture to say it's defective, but since it stopped working as soon as the update was complete, I can't be convinced of that. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Moderator edit: updated subject for clarity. Hi - I understand your frustration. It's always disappointing when things don't work as expected.

Both my wife and I have MacBook pros and One trackers and have no issues. So if you're willing, we can try some troubleshooting and see if we can get the sync functionality going again.
I don't know if the update you are referring to relates to Fitbit Connect, a Device Update, or an OS X update. The latter is what I would check first. I am running the latest version of OS X Yosemite. What version are you on? It may also be that your phone's BT signal is blocking the Mac/Dongle wireless link - try turning off the BT signal on the phone and see what happens. I have seen posts in other threads where this was indeed the issue for them.
Aside from the sync functionality, does your One appear to be tracking your steps correctly? Have you tried to sync with another computer, someone else at work for example who also has a One and a dongle in a port? Your One can sync with anyone else's dongle, as long as you're within 15 feet or so of an active (powered) fitbit One dongle. If you could do this, then perhaps this would narrow down the issue to a defective dongle, or a defective port. It would help.
Hope this helps. Have a good day, despite the frustration. TW (If this tip solved the problem for you, please mark this post solved, as this will be helpful to other users experiencing similar issues.). Thanks for the reply.
I am running OS X Yosemite (Version 10.10.2) on my MacBook Air. Fitbit Connect Version 2.0.0.6563. This was updated on February 13, 2015, and is the update I did that caused all my problems. I guessed how long ago I did the update, but I just took the time to look and see when this update actually occurred.

My One has been syncing with my phone without a problem so I haven't been at a total loss, however, I did turn off the BT just to see if anything would change on my laptop. Nothing changed except I couldn't sync with my phone anymore. Here are two screen shots. The first one shows what happens when I click on my Fitbit icon and then click on Open Main Menu. See at the top it says 'Wireless Sync Dongle is disconnected.' My Wireless Sync Dongle is in the same port it has been in for almost a year. I did change it to the only other port my laptop has, but it didn't recognize there either.
After I click on 'Sync Now' or 'Check for device update' then log in, I get this message: So, I'm at a loss as to what to do now. I've turned my BT back on on my phone and will continue to sync that way, but I sure would like to get the problem fixed on my laptop. Any other thoughts? Well, we are both running exactly the same software.
I don't have issues. So if you're having issues, then it's either because something at your end is blocking the wireless communciation with your dongle; or your dongle is defective; or your USB port is defective; or your One is defective. One way, albeit tedious, to troubleshoot this is go through a process of elimination. Since your One is synching just fine with your phone, so I have to assume that the One is working just fine, since it communicates with the phone via Bluetooth. To test if your fitbit dongle is OK, is there another computer you can use to test it?. Do you have a firewall running on your Mac?
If so, can you check the settings to confirm that Fitbit Connect has the proper privilege flags assigned to it. You can try unplugging the dongle, clearing your Safari internet cache, shutting down your system completely (as opposed to just signing off or closing the cover); and then boot up again, plug the dongle back in. Do you have more than one USB port on your MacBook Air?
If so, have you tried the other ports or have you tried connecting something else to that one port that entails bi-directional BT communication?. You may also want to delete Fitbit Connect and download and install a fresh copy - perhaps something went haywire during the previous download. Can't think of anything else right now other than email support for advice. Please let us know how it goes. Have a nice day, despite the syncless frustrations! TW (If this tip solved the problem for you, please mark this post solved, as this will be helpful to other users experiencing similar issues.). I am having the same issue.
I took a 'break' from my Fitbit, but everything worked fine when I was logging and syncing regularly. I get the same error screens telling me to plug a dongle into my Mac. I have updated software for everything. I tried two different dongles in three different USB ports.
My Fitbit syncs with my Android phone. I also think this is a Fitbit issue because I find it hard to believe both of my dongles are mysteriously broken at the same time. I have written to customer service and will post anything useful that happens. Would really, really love a fix to this problem. Like others, I was hopeful that the fix would solve this on-going problem with Macs not talking to the Bluetooth dongle.
I deleted the existing application (dragged the application to the trash using Finder, then emptied the trash), and installed the new version - no change. So using the Uninstall icon that came with the download, I removed the new version, cleared the iMac caches, shut-down and re-started the Mac, and re-installed the new version.

Hi, You need to get the MS SQL JDBC driver from the Microsoft site. I couldn't get the version 6 working in SoapUI, but version 4 worked perfectly. Put the sqljdbc41.jar into your SoapUI folder under./bin/ext (and restart SoapUI). Since you're using SQL Server Login instead of Windows Authentication, you don't need the sqljdbcauth.dll at all. The driver name is com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver.
The connection string looks like: jdbc:sqlserver://myhost.mydomain.com:9999;username=apawar;password=mypass123.
