1. L'oreal Amber Rush Eyeshadow

Packaging: The eyeshadow comes in a little pot with a tight silver cap. On opening the cap you have another little covering on top that is to prevent the pigment from fallout, I guess. The bottom is transparent and you can clearly see the shade you’re picking up. It is quite sturdy and you can just throw it in your pouch without worrying about it. Texture: This is a pigment-like texture, but is in a pressed shadow form. In that sense, it is very unique and is unlike any other product that I have ever seen. It is very frosty and metallic.

It glides like butter on my fingers and there’s a lot of shimmer. It is not exactly the chunky kind shimmer, it’s more like particles with a lot of sheen. Shade: The color is a coppery rose gold shade.

It is warm with subtle orange to it. It is highly metallic and reflective and will look like you crushed a copper penny on your eyelid. It is also very pigmented with just two swipes. If I am doing an Indian eye makeup look, it is a no brainer with this shadow. I can use this along with some gold and it works with most outfits. I even wear it with non-Indian outfits, with some black or brown liner and I am good to go. It is a very versatile colour and can be incorporated into a lot of looks.

This lasts all day( 8 hours) on my extremely oily lids without primer. I don’t think I will ever wear makeup longer than that. It starts to fade after that.

I know the claim says 24 hours, but I have never worn makeup for that long, so I have no idea. But as long as I want it there, it lasts without budging. And for Indian festive makeup, this is a good quality to have. I used this product first with a brush, but I feel it gives only half of the depth with that. For best results, use it with a finger or a damp brush if you don’t like using your finger. This application gives the best pigmentation in my opinion and makes it look absolutely gorgeous. This has been touted as a dupe for Mac’s Tan Pigment.
