Click to expand.I've got a PostgreSQL database running on a Linux server. I've set up ODBC on the server, which connects to the database. I was hoping I'd be able to get NeoOffice to communicate through that, but it only seems to want to connect to an ODBC service on the Mac, nothing over the network. Can you point me at some / any documentation for OS X's built-in ODBC libraries?

I've Googled but everyone elses ODBC seems to rank highly, and not Apple's. I know nothing about ODBC, all I can figure from what I've read is that I need it! But what I need, and how to make it all work is learning curve I'm on. WRT OpenLink, I've found their site (trying to connect Excel to an external data-source throws up an error, a link to MS, and from there a link to OpenLink) but I can't find anything free. Microsoft points me at third-party sites the appear to be pay-ware. I'm not happy about that seeing as Excel used to have the necessary on the install disk.
